Tuesday night I attended the OBA (Ohio Blogging Association) February Cleveland Blogger meetup. This was my second time attending one of the group’s monthly events, and my first time blogging about it. As a wine lover myself, this was an event not to be missed!
This month’s theme was a wine tasting event at Wine & Design, a local business offering a selection of fine wines, wine tastings and interior decorating services. Wine & Design is located in Cleveland, right near Tremont, which is an artsy little community just west of the city limits. This was actually my first time visiting Tremont since moving here. I’ll be sure to be coming back again though!
There we met with local blogger and wine connoisseur, Tammy, better known as Miss WineOH.
For a nominal fee we enjoyed a pairing of three white wines and three red wines, along with light appetizers of hummus, cheese, dried meats, popcorn and crackers. Tammy discussed each of the wines after each pour, as about two dozen local bloggers enjoyed the food and beverages along with conversation on blogging.
Overall it was a pleasurable evening!

I’m so glad you came out last night for the event! I didn’t know it was your first time in Tremont since moving here. There’s so much to check out there. I even said to Hans when I got home last night that when it warms up, I just want to take an afternoon to walk around the neighborhood. So much cool stuff! Thanks again for supporting the OBA!

That’s really cool that you have such a group, and that you do such fun things! I would love that. I’ve been to Tremont a couple of times when visiting my parents–great places there!
I just wish there was more to do in Toledo…..
Blog wise? Maybe you could start up your own meetings. If you reach out Alicia I’m sure she would help give you pointers!
But in the way of social activities … eh, yeah Toledo is rough. I hear ya girl. Keep your chin up!
